Dark Secret & Moki flew to Sydney on Monday to join our Warwick farm stable. Both horses have completed their ground work here in New Zealand and should race in Australia within the next month.

Our Ventura will race at Hawkesbury on Sunday. She has drawn the outside barrier over 1500m which is not ideal, hopefully Jason can slot into a nice position back in the field. She had a jump out last week in preparation but has had a five week break from racing due to a foot abscess so can only be improved from the outing.
Hot Mustard continued his run of consistent form with a good 3rd over 2200m at Warwick Farm on Monday. He has come through the race well and we may look at racing him back at Warwick Farm on the 19th or he may head north to Brisbane for a $60K race at Eagle Farm on the 15th depending on weather and track conditions.

Untamed Diamond will be back on track at Warwick Farm on Wednesday in the benchmark 78 over 1100m. Deanne Panya will ride her in a final gallop on Saturday in preparation and again on race day. She didn’t have any favours last start from an outside barrier so we are hoping for a better draw this time.

Here in New Zealand the ongoing wet weather is proving to be frustrating and has delayed starts for a number of our team. Japhite, Swissta, Florence Hill, Shangold & Top Prospect were scratched from Avondale last Wednesday when it came up a heavy 10, they are all nominated for Ruakaka on Wednesday where the track is currently a dead 5 and should provide a good surface for them.

Biggin Hill continues to train on well and looks on target to start in the Lion Red Plate at Rotorua next weekend. Cinematic could resume at Rotorua depending on track conditions.

City Boy was disappointing at Te Rapa last Friday finishing 7th over 1200m after a good run of form prior. He didn’t get the best of runs early, being caught three wide then just battled in the straight finishing 5 lengths from the winner. He has pulled up well however and appears to have taken no harm from the run.

Fast Learner is another of our team waiting on better track conditions to resume on race day. He continues to work keenly and should perform well when he steps out.
Cartell continues to be plagued with niggly foot issues and has had a change of shoeing which has helped, he too is no chance of racing again until the tracks get firmer. Irish Missile & Son Taari are back full working after some soreness issues. Selfie has had a quiet fortnight with a respiratory setback.

Lady Henrietta will work along at speed in company tomorrow morning. Captain Rio – Pyrate Princess, Red Giant – She’s A Tomboy & Guillotine – Mary Agnes have worked along nicely in quiet pace work. 2yo fillies Molly Polly (Hussonet – Tevez) and Medgalia D’oro – Lunar Ecplise have resumed training this week.
