Biggin Hill and City Boy will race at Ellerslie tomorrow on a heavy 10 surface. Biggin Hill will start in the open 1200m, he has only had one previous start on a heavy track for a placing however his gallops of late on the wet tracks have been excellent. City Boy has good form on a heavy track, he is first up in the R65 1200m race and will carry 60kgs which will be a big ask in testing conditions. Both horses will be ridden by Alysha Collett.
With the abandonment of Counties races last week Swissta will now have to wait to make his debut, he will head to Ellerslie on Monday 6th June over 1200m. Dark Secret and Son Taari have both been nominated to race at Matamata on Wednesday.
Top Prospect, Swiss Ace- Vibe & Shantaine – Savabeel will all have jump outs here at Counties next week and aim to trial at Avondale on Tuesday 14th June.
Selfie has enjoyed a quiet week of pace work, while Cartell has also had a quiet week getting over foot issues.

Ventura at Hawkesbury trials
In Australia
Ventura won her 1000m trial very nicely on Monday, ridden by Jason. She has come through the trial well and will make her Australian debut at Kembla Grange next Saturday over 1400m. She will race in Australia as Our Ventura.

Untamed Diamond ran a creditable 5th beaten only 2 lengths at her debut at Canterbury over 1250m on Wednesday in a race run in a very quick time of 1.13.69. From a wide barrier she jumped very quickly and as a consequence was forced to work hard over the early stages. She held on well only fading over the final 100m. She has pulled up in good condition and could race next at Randwick on Saturday 11th June over 1100m which will be more to her liking.

With rain forecast this week the track could be to Hot Mustard’s liking when he lines up on Thursday over 2100m at Gosford. He has trained on very well since moving to our base at Warwick Farm.
