Swissta broke through for his maiden win at just his third start at Avondale on Tuesday. Alysha always had him in a winning position and he fought on gamely to win by a neck over the 1200m. He is raced by the partnership of Carol Findlay, Barry Jensen (pictured below), Julian Ede, Carol Kidd, Gerald Shand, Pat Fruin, Janet Hepi & Wigg Wilson who have all been long time owners with us. Swissta looks like he may get over more ground and will head next to Ellerslie on 11th December over 1500m.
Our other two runners at Avondale, Irish Missile & Son Taari finished 3rd and 4th respectively, both finishing off their races well.

Owner Joanne Sims will have two runners on Counties Cup day tomorrow with Biggin Hill lining up in the Counties Bowl over 1100m and the promising filly Florence Hill in the R65 1400m. Both horses go into the race on the back of some solid gallops over the past week.
Cinematic ran a creditable 7th at Tauranga last Saturday given the testing track and her wide barrier draw. She will race next at Ellerslie on the 3rd December and will appreciate better track conditions.
Selfie has again galloped well this week and looks likely to head to Ellerslie next Saturday to race over 1100m. It could be a good day for his owner Arthur Avis with his other horse Top Prospect also heading there to race in the 3yo 1500m.
We will be taking advantage of the jump outs being held on Monday on the course proper here at Counties with Fast Learner, Japhite, Shangold, Lady Henrietta, Time Lord, Molly Polly, Captain Rio – Pyrate Princess, Red Giant – Shes a Tomboy and the Medgalia D’oro – Lunar Eclipse all lining up.
In Australia
Segenhoe makes his Australian debut at Hawkesbury today over 2000m. With Jason on the side-lines he will be ridden by Rory Hutchings. He has worked well on the track since his trial and we expect him to run well.
Untamed Diamond continues to thrive in Sydney and worked nicely over 800m on Wednesday for her race day jockey Deanne Panya. She looks on target to race at Rosehill on the 26th December over 1200m.
Moki has worked well in blinkers during the week, he will gallop with Untamed Diamond tomorrow and could make his debut Friday week at Canberra over 1000m. Dark Secret stretched out nicely at ¾ speed this week, he may have a jump out later next week. Our Ventura is enjoying being back in the stable after a short break.
